What began as the "deli" with a few cold cuts and pre-made salads has evolved into the Prepared Foods Department—a lively, warm and appetizing part of the store showcasing the creativity and culinary talents of our teams of chefs. Whole Foods Market stores offer an ever-changing variety of quick entrées, side dishes, soups, rotisserie grilled items, sushi and sandwiches—all made with natural ingredients.
We use no artificial sweeteners, colors, flavors, or synthetic preservatives*. We do use expeller pressed oils, natural meats, and organic foods when available. And ingredients are clearly labeled, so you can make sure that our good food is good for you.
* Foods containing wine products do contain naturally occurring or added sulfites and are labeled accordingly.
