The branch restaurant is a casual upscale restaurant, art, and music venue in Old Town Kemptville, Ontario, the Ottawa valley’s fastest growing community. The farm is 2 miles down the road and the market/cafe offers a salad bar, soups and a vegetarian menu which includes sopes, huaraches, jalapeno poppers and quesadillas. The chiles are grown and dried on the farm for this menu. On the week-end evenings the menu depends on what is available on the farm and is inspired by a different country each week-end. Pizza is served on week-end evenings, as well. Vegan options abound. Lunch/dinner are served from 11 to 8 pm; Monday thru Saturday. Breakfast is offered on Saturdays and Sundays. Muffins, scones are baked fresh every morning at 8 am on Monday thru Saturday and at 9 am on Sunday. Casual. Outdoor patio. Dog friendly. Kid friendly. Near the best hiking trails in the valley. At least 95% of the ingredients used in the kitchen and sold in the market are certified organic!

The Kitchen is a neighborhood bistro with superior food and service.
The Kitchen carefully manages the source of all ingredients and buys local and organic whenever possible. The menu changes daily reflecting the best seasonal ingredients available. The Kitchen’s commitment to offering fresh, eclectic dishes is a unique compliment to its exceptional service and community atmosphere.
Currently the only organic restaurant certified by the State of Washington, the Mark is all about health, sustainability, and exceptional rustic Italian cuisine.
Chef/owner Lisa Owen estimates 75% of food products used are certified organic. Since it’s not possible to validate all ingredients, imported items such as cheeses are instead selected for quality and sustainability.
When available, organic produce is purchased from local neighboring farms. Certified organic chicken and beef are also acquired from nearby farms; if organic meats are not available, free range, hormone free meats are used as alternatives.
Pasta is fresh, made with organic ingredients and local free range, antibiotic-free eggs. The menu also features wild, sustainably harvested salmon and scallops.
The Mark is open Thursday through Saturday, 5pm to 1am, and by private hire Monday through Wednesday.
